The Museo Archeologico Nazionale di Reggio Calabria, also called the Museum of Magna Grecia Palazzo Piacentini, as the name suggests, presents a vast collection of artefacts and archaeological remains from the Magna Grecia. The museum has expanded over the years, thanks to ongoing work and projects of excavations carried out by the archaeological Sopraintendenza Calabria. Initially all the exhibits were preserved and exhibited in this unique museum, then over time, new finds, especially for a logistics and space, it was thought to exhibit in small museums of cities in which they were found as Crotone, Locri, Roccelletta of Borgia, Lamezia Terme, Vibo Valentia and Sibari. Of course in this museum are preserved pieces more valuable and important as the Bronze Statues, famous throughout the world, considered as real masterpieces sculptors in bronze by the Greek masters. There are two large statues dating from the fifth century a.C. Admire also the Head of a Philosopher Porticello found a special and original example of Greek portraiture. And then again:

- The Kouros of Reggio, the statue of a victorious athlete;
- The head of Apollo Aleo marble;
- The Dioscuri represented while descending from his horse in the famous battle of Sagra.
- PINAKES collections that depict scenes of the Rape of Persephone from Locri Epizerfi.
- Many jewels, mirrors and bronze medals in gold and silver.
